Fish n Frolics has just finished  with two weeks of fishing and fun and was a perfect ending with the juniors. We had a record number of juniors and even a first time angler aged 75 who is now hooked which shows that the sport of Fishing can be learnt from any age. The weather stayed fine and a good time was had by all.

 

What a fab weekend, I rate this as amongst one of the best FISH'n'FROLICS ever!

We had a constant steam of juniors over all of the 3 days who all went home happy and some amazing fish which were caught mainly trout, chub dace, gudgeon, perch and minnows from the river Stour and although it fished hard there were still carp, bream, perch, rudd and gudgeon from Aston Magna.

The weather stayed nice for the music Evening as well which certainly helped and what an amazing sight seeing so many people there enjoying our totally FREE festival and all the acts were amazing, I was blown away by the support this year from the people of Shipston on Stour .

It is impossible for me to thank so many people who are involved in making this happen ( you all know who you are 👍).

 

The winners of the junior match today were Elodie who caught a 2 lb 01 oz bream and lost a nice carp and Jack who caught 4 lb 02  08 , well done to them it wasn't an easy day.
